Happy Sunday everyone!

The registration for the 2015-2016 Loose Ends curling season is up and running! Please head over to the Registration page for all of the details!

Games this season ate going to be from 1:00pm – 3:00pm as opposed to our usual time slot of 5:30pm. We hope that this game time is better for most players!

We are also happy to announce that Lennie Comeau and Mark Gammon have stepped in this season as co-chairs while Corey Oickle has taken the role of the Treasurer. We are glad to have Mark and Lennie on board to help make this season the best on yet!

I would like to thank everyone for participating in the 2014-2015 curling season! Without your support, this league would obviously not be what it is today!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Pink Broom Fundraiser last night, or, supported in any way, shape or form. With everyone’s support we were able to raise $991.00 for the curlers heading to Toronto in March to represent Halifax at the CGCC!

From everyone involved, a sincere THANK-YOU!

If you are new to curling, remember to bring warm, layered, stretchy clothing and a pair of clean sneakers! Off-Ice learn to curl session will begin at 3:00 PM with the On-Ice learning session beginning at 3:30PM. First games will be at 4:00 PM sharp!!

Remember to come prepared for our Raffle and 50-50 draws! We have some pretty amazing prizes including 100,000 Aeroplan points (enough to fly anywhere in the Continental USA or Canada).

Bring your friends! Even if they aren’t curling they can still participate in the Raffle/50-50 or just relax, have a couple drinks and watch an event that always ends up being a lot of fun!

Our annual Pink Broom Fundraiser is taking place this Saturday at the Mayflower Curling Club between 3:00PM and 12:00AM! Tomorrow is your last day to register for what always ends up being a fun event!

Cost is $30.00 per person which includes 2, 75 minute curling games and a quick learn to curl session. All you need to bring is a pair of clean sneakers and warm clothing!

Registration for the 2014 – 2015 curling season has been extended until this coming Sunday night – October 12, 2014 at midnight. We currently sit at 28 registered members for the season. In order to have 4 full sheets of play we need 4 more individuals! All interested curlers after that will have to wait until we see if we have groups of 8 in order to fill another sheet of ice!

Its mid July and time to start planning for the 2014-15 season! We have met with Melanie at the Mayflower Curling Club and have come up with 14 dates for this season. And yes, we said 14. This season has expanded 2 weeks to get people on the ice as much as we possibly can. Due to this, registration fees are going to change slightly from last season. When the registration fee has been figured out, we will open registration and let everyone know.

The scheduled curling dates for the season can be found on the schedule page. Check it out whenever you get a chance!
